Nearly 1 in 3 clubs have closed since 2019, and London has seen a huge rise in noise complaints. I’m v proud to say my latest @BBCRadio4 doc follows Kwame at @thejagodalston as he battles a noise complaint against huge rising costs. It’s on at now! Or here

This is good news. Will be interesting to see how it’s practically enacted but from what I’ve heard it follows the model in football where big clubs help to support grassroots- helping to ensure future players are nurtured. V v important for small clubs .

This thread… relatable for DJing and other performers too.
I don't quite know how to express this w/o sounding like a miserly boomer, but I'm going to try. I've been doing less gigs lately, but when I have I always see at least 2 or 3 camera phones winking in the audience. People filming me. I really don't like it, for a few reasons:.

Absolutely love this tune! I heard it on a free CD given away by a magazine (old skool). Then tracked it down on vinyl a few years later. There’s a tool that goes into an infinite loop on the record, very clever. Still love this track.
2024, meanwhile, marks twenty years (!!) since @mrjamesholden remixed ‘The Sky Is Pink’ and almost single-handedly helped to create a new genre for the floor. When did you get exposed to ‘… Pink’ for the first time?
