Newcastle lost BADLY. Any sane club easily sells Isak to Liverpool when they come asking and ensures they get Ekitike. Get the money, get rid of the striker that doesn't want you, get the perfect replacement, have time to build around said replacement.

This is FANTASTIC play btw. Run the channel off the last man, slow and face up your defender, create separation (doesn't matter how, create it), put a threatening ball in. Football is a simple game.

Completely untrue btw. The club directly asked Madueke to take his holidays and get his rest and prevented him from going on the tour. He took a week but spent the rest of the time doing individual training sessions with his personal coach and even cut his fake holiday short.
