How to use the lift at spinners mill! The lift has safety sensors that will make the lift halt if you cross the yellow line and reach for the doors too early. Listen for the clicks, or if you're hard of hearing, wait around 3 seconds after the lift stops to open the doors

This is shocking but to be honest if I didn't move in with my partner straight after uni I wouldn't have been able to go straight into working freelance
And of course designers, lighting designers, they're all going through this too. A brilliant young designer told me that, at a @_scene_change_ organised Q&A with an established designer, the career advice they were given was "get a rich husband"...

My fiancé just added to this by saying the meds don't make it easier by motivating you, they just numb you to the internal fight. Which is honestly such a good way of putting it into words.

ADHD is exhausting because I have to constantly make the conscious effort to force myself to do every single thing thoughout my day, everyday, from replying to a message, to eating and drinking, to going to the bathroom, even doing fun things. Thankfully meds make it a bit easier
@StructuredSucc ADHD often feels like oppositional defiance disorder against myself
