I learned of @Matt_Rector's passing in an unusual way, only adding to a feeling that it wasn't "real." But Rector was mos def one of the real ones at Purdue. From the OG cubicles to our adjacent offices during the pandemic, his POV was always welcome & reassuring. #BeKind 🙏🐶❤️.
For today’s game, we will honor former SID Matt Rector, a long-time Purdue employee, who passed away unexpectedly on November 16. Rector retired from Purdue in Sept. 2021, ending a 14-year tenure, during which he worked with our program on a daily basis. #BoilerUp for Rector!

Make it 3 grand slams (all to RF) in as many innings to begin the game for @NUCatsBaseball. Mike Trautwein gets in on the fun this time. Northwestern up 13-1 vs an MSU pitcher that worked 8 scoreless last Friday in same stadium against Maryland. Life is stranger than fiction. .

Paul has been an excellent teammate for many years, both at Mackey & on the Arni Cohen softball fields. Lots of great projects & posters for @PurdueSports over the years, but tough to top this one. #BoilerUp
I might as well tweet it now — In a few short weeks it will be my last day with Purdue Athletics. I've been SO VERY BLESSED for the opportunity I've had for the past 10 years. but it's time for a new adventure. I'll still be around, just in the stands for a change 😉 #BoilerUp

Definitely glad I bailed on the club this week. 7am & lingering snow/ice is just too much when #RunForFun is already not my thing. Actually blamed my absense on the line drive off the leg Friday at @PurdueBaseball practice.
Local businesses, shovel your sidewalks. @WestLafayetteIN, what's up with the snow-covered greenways? And a thank you to that jackel motorist, was a solid exchange of the bird we shared. Overall, a solid morning running in our fair cities.
