It's absolutely amazing to me how hypocritical teachers are on Twitter. If you disagree with their opinion, they block u or throw a fit. I hope they dont encourage that type of lack of discourse in the classroom. Students cant block or send followers to attack each other.

You weren’t successful with 7 hrs a day- 180 days- with tons of resources. So let’s gather you with other failing students who either struggle or hate school and give u more school while all the other kids take vacation. Let’s also only make it 3 hours a day.

Not only is this picture true, but I HATE it when a parent emails and says “my child will miss school tomorrow- will he be missing anything important?” No, we were planning on staring at walls all day. I make it a priority to never do anything important.

Change the narrative. Show people breaking stereotypes throughout your classroom displays, bulletin boards, and etc.
