Please RT. 🧵1/2. Help needed. We are looking for a child’s hurl that was accidentally left at the toilets at Ballinesker beach on Thursday 11th July around 9pm. It was given to a 10 year old by his Dad who passed away a month ago and is of huge sentimental value.

What you see versus what you don't — there is a lot beneath the surface of MS. MS, much like an iceberg, has an unseen side to it that can be very frustrating. Everyone's experience is different and unique, and those living with MS may face both visible and invisible symptoms.

Looking back, my daughter’s symptoms date back to 2019. One consultant said her pain was psychological. Her counsellor advised neurology referral. We had to get private app as 5 year waiting list for NHS. Thankfully she is now getting 6 monthly infusion treatment 🧡

#Teachers, you see that boy at the back of the class, the one who's normally so bright and cheerful, but today is very quiet? He's thinking about his mum. Yesterday he was at the church cutting the grass on her grave. If you can, take a moment with him. #hiddengrief #bereavement

Today is #WorldMSDay. The theme is #MyMSDiagnosis, something we as a family have been touched by the past year. My 20 year old daughter was diagnosed a week before she started uni last September. We are so proud of her and what she has achieved despite the challenges.

So sad to hear about Colin Murray Parkes’ death. A lovely man who cared deeply about bereaved people and was involved with Cruse for 60 years. My thoughts are with his family. 💜

I am so privileged to work with such amazing young people. As adults we learn so much for them. It’s so important we hear their voices and listen to what they need, not what we think they need.
