GO FETCH! — the SpongeBob Halloween Special 📺 Premieres Fri, Oct 3, 2025 @ 5:30PM (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon! I’ll try and share some music after it airs — hope you’ll tune in!

The result doesn’t look or sound like traditional SpongeBob — but it captures the spirit of freedom, reinvention, and surreal creativity that’s kept the show alive for 25 years. I’m grateful to help carry that torch.

But GO FETCH! is something else entirely. The animation team, led by Adam Paloian, pushed SpongeBob (and animation itself) into bold new territory. When I saw it, I knew I had to compose a score unlike anything I’d ever written before.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of scoring some of the wildest and most surreal sequences in SpongeBob history — from Randomland to One Trick Sponge, plus Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show.

I first joined the SpongeBob family in 2019 when I was invited to adapt one of my all-time favorite pieces of music for the show: Raymond Scott’s Powerhouse. That moment was unforgettable and a true career milestone.
