If there’s one thing that’s never “temporary” in New York State it’s tax increases!.
This is a strange characterization given that earlier this year Hochul proposed - and the Legislature approved - extending a supposedly temporary PIT surcharge on high incomes from 2027 to 2032

In 2021, NY Democrats attempted to amend the State Constitution to gain power to gerrymander districts. The voters REJECTED IT! In 2022, they did it anyway in clear violation of the Constitution and got STRUCK DOWN by their own judicial appointees!.
@GovKathyHochul tells Texans: "Up until now, Democrats have treated our political system like it’s still governed by norms, guarded by limits and rooted in fairness. Rules were meant to be followed. It hurts to say it, but that era has come to an end.".
