The panel system has repeatedly shown its inefficiencies and inability to staff much needed posts yet the HSE continue to use this recruitment system that is not fit for purpose. HSE please listen and look after your staff!

It was with utter rage today I learned of @HSE_HR plans to run a campaign for a national Senior OT panel. It beggars considering 92% on HSCPs feel the system does not work and 86% believe it is unfair. We cannot allow this to happen AGAIN!! # panelnotfit @forsa_union_ie

Reinstatement of a panel is not enough. We need complete review and overhaul of the HSE recruitment system for all professions affected. #panelnotfit

Let’s not forget though, how fundamentally wrong the panel recruitment process is, when HSE try to keep us all ‘happy’ by advertising the opening of a new panel in the new year. Things have to change.
