I wouldn’t be in a rush to get rid of provincials…albeit probably due to the new rules they’ve been far better than any of the round robin/super 8 nonsense’s that has been played since the qualifiers were revamped.

The FRC seriously have to clarify the rules surrounding the hooter and the ending of the game. Every game I watch there appears to be a different application.

Had Score difference rules not changed in the Galway senior football championship last year St Michaels would have played in a second successive senior quarter in 2023 and not be playing intermediate this year.
