Our latest research on catalytic oxidation over dilute-limit PdAu alloys is now available in @JCatal_J! Here we show that Pd promotes ethanol esterification more so than simple oxidation, even when Pd is isolated. Great fun with some great collaborators!

Thank you to the Great Plains Catalysis Society for the opportunity to discuss catalysis by dilute-limit alloys! Here I focused on the importance of ensemble size, discussing what the field knows, how we know it, and where we go from here.

Check out our work in @Chem_Eng_J on aldolization over MgAl oxides using a reversible "trans-situ" titration method to show the importance of the strongest base sites. DFT led by @pdesh also assesses the ability of metal vacancies to drive this catalysis.
