At 10am this morning, my colleagues and I at @EUatUN observed a moment of silence in memory of a great European and world leader, Jacques Delors. His vision & work led to the strong, socially caring, peaceful, and prosperous European Union 🇪🇺 of today. Thank you, Mr. President.

The 🇪🇺EU & 🇨🇾Cyprus announce intent to open special 🚢 maritime corridor to get more aid to Palestinians in Gaza, together with 🇩🇪 🇬🇷 🇮🇹 🇳🇱 🇦🇪🇺🇸🇬🇧. Will complement but cannot replace immediate need for more land routes for aid. Read the Joint Statement
