Itâs generally unfair to judge the Committee or a team on a single game after the fact, but UVa was a poor choice then and now. I would have taken Indiana State or one of the Big East bubble teams. Right or wrong, Pitt never had a shot with that schedule.
UVA isnât exactly making the Selection Committee look great right now. Seton Hall, Indiana State, Pitt, Saint Johnâs, and a handful of others are probably watching this and saying âtold you so.â.

Final thoughts: Throttle back the outrage. Essentially we had a 63-team field this year. With the average 1 or 2 bid stealers, 3 or 4 among Okla, SHall, IndSt, Pitt, StJohn and Prov make it and we're having a "normal" bubble debate.
