It’s generally unfair to judge the Committee or a team on a single game after the fact, but UVa was a poor choice then and now. I would have taken Indiana State or one of the Big East bubble teams. Right or wrong, Pitt never had a shot with that schedule.
UVA isn’t exactly making the Selection Committee look great right now. Seton Hall, Indiana State, Pitt, Saint John’s, and a handful of others are probably watching this and saying ‘told you so.’

Iowa State's win over Houston and North Carolina's loss to NC State may not just give the Cyclones the fourth No. 1 seed --- it may also make the Tar Heels the No. 2 seed in the East.
That means they'd have to beat UConn in Boston to go to the Final Four.

Villanova 2018. Four first-rounders PLUS the Wooden Award winner.
Gonzaga is probably the most complete team in college basketball since 2014-15 Kentucky. I would even say 2008-09 Carolina, especially since I get flashbacks to Ty Lawson when I watch Jalen Suggs.
