Forever grateful for @UKyGenSurgery for giving me a chance to prove myself in a specialty I had never anticipated. Amazing how much I’ve grown thanks to many attendings and coresidents who helped me find my confidence and uncovered my love for surgery.

Just arrived in Florida to present my research on frailty in colorectal patients on Saturday…..and can’t help but feel moved by all the #SOAP and #unmatched posts. I will never forget how terrible that week made me feel. I was lost and devastated.
