You should not use AI for producing your papers!!!! We are seeing more of this submitted to JPART and only find it because we read each and every submission whether it's send for review or desk rejected. Just had a case where a paper hallucinated references not existing. Stop!

Takeaways: controversial policy areas aren’t automatically depoliticized by fiat. Stakeholder prior attitudes shape perceptions of credibility in imp. ways in the EU regulatory state, w/ attitude incongruent outcomes seen as less credible despite being produced by indp. bodies.

We find that stakeholder perceptions of credibility are greatly influenced by their prior positions on the policy matter. Stakeholders are more likely to perceive an agency output as credible in as much as it corresponds to their prior positions & preferences on the matter. 3/4

Our study indicates that independence is a necessary but partial solution in that it enhances perceptions of credibility but does not compensate for the negative effect of priors. Attitude-(in)congruent outcomes shape stakeholder perceptions of credibility in important ways. 2/4
