Our Friday Outreach today was quiet. What we did see: lots of security presence; many alcoves and nooks where we used to meet folks have been blocked off. Where are our houseless neighbors? They’ve been pushed away. They’re houseless but this is there home. Reconciliation?

$80,000 ‼️ Since Feb, we have bailed out 18 Indigenous women (most are moms, criminalized for poverty) w/ low cash bail up to $500. We have spent $2200 on their bail. Paying their bail has saved tax payers more than $80,000! Not to mention the healing and impact on their kids!

Check out some amazing beadwork! Over the holidays, a woman reached out to us; sadly, she was alone in the hospital for Christmas. Her entire family is in NWT. (Can you imagine?!) So our team got to work and made a craft kit for her and this is what she made while in hospital!❤️
