A130 - serious road traffic collision. There has been a serious road traffic collision on the A130, at the Rayleigh Spur roundabout. The A130, A1245 and A127 have been closed in both directions. The road closures are expected to remain for some time. Please avoid the area.

Update 5am. Firefighters have been working to put out a garage fire that had spread to two vehicles. Two crews will remain at the scene monitoring hotspots. An investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire.

Update midnight. Crews have extinguished a fire affecting a workshop and two gardens by tackling the fire in sections. Two crews will remain at the scene dampening the area and monitoring hotspots. The fire was caused by a bonfire that had spread out of control.

Four crews - two crews from Essex and two crews from @SuffolkFire - worked alongside a local farmer to put out a field fire in Great Maplestead today. A fire in a field had spread to a neighbouring field and crews worked to put the fire out before it spread to farm buildings

We are dealing with a lorry fire on M25, clockwise junctions 29 to 30. The lorry is carrying tyres, which are alight and are producing large amounts of smoke. Clockwise: closed. Anticlockwise: delays. Avoid the area if you can and take extra care if you're near the scene.

The A12 has been closed northbound between junction 19 for Boreham and junction 20 for Hatfield Peverel due to a collision involving a car and a lorry. The closure is likely to remain in place into the morning rush hour, so avoid the area or leave extra time for your journey.

Four crews were called to a field fire in Bicknacre at 12:55pm affecting approximately four acres of grassland and hedges. Crews worked to surround the fire and prevent it spreading to houses, extinguishing it by 1:50pm.
