My thoughts on the Elon v. MAGA/Groyper timeline. Elon always knew *he* could crush whomever he wishes, using the potential of his new platform algorithm & TOS. Free speech is whatever the power elites say it is.
@JFGariepy I've thought about the theory that Elon picked this fight w/the Groypers to pre-empt a mass banning/demonetization campaign, and I think it goes back to "let him be crushed by the comments and Community Notes." Elon could have suspected he could play this card at any time, using.
