A trip to the clinic was "bearable" for about 40 Park Medical Academy prekindergarteners -- thanks to Baton Rouge General Medical Center Mid City. The hospital hosted a Bear Clinic with teddy bears to help students become more familiar with healthcare careers.

Today was another great day for the students of EBR Schools! We started with a preview performance of “Annie Jr.” by Forest Heights Academy students, then students from our Youth Guidance program participated with the groundbreaking of the Inspiration Center!

Harry Belafonte was one of our favorite guest stars on The Muppet Show and a great friend to The Muppets. In his work on and off the stage, he helped us all to see one another clearly and truly turned the world around. We will never forget you, Harry!

Glasgow Middle School came in first place in 19 out of 22 categories at the state Science Olympiad competition. Glasgow will represent EBR at the national competition this summer. Congratulations to all students and teachers for their hard work and dedication to science.
