29 years ago started coaching at Elmwood/Brimfield. I coached the guy in that piece of machinery, Jarid Bedwell. We needed a piece of equipment moved and I reached back in time and gave him a call. He showed up. Small town coaching is amazing. Thank you Jarid.

Along with the run game, the Trojans, according to coach Todd Hollis, sports “four, maybe five valedictorians on the team between the classes. when you have that on the offensive line, they can learn and pick up stuff pretty quickly.” @EBFootball .

New to the Trojans program as a sophomore, the visit this evening with Elliott Turner and his parents allowed them to ask a lot of questions. Elliott will play O-line and D-line this fall. He’s going to be a great addition to the freshman class. Go Trojans!

Freshman center/DL Latham Lundell is an absolute worker. And, well on his path to Eagle Scout (currently Life), it’s not surprising that he’s already proven to be a “take care of the little things” guy. He and his parents are very excited for the season. Go Trojans!

My first “home” visit at a fire house!. Sophomore Kevin Johnson (OL/DL) is also a member of the Brimfield Fire Department, along with his mother and father. Serving others - agape. Kevin has spent some time with varsity, and my REQUIRED advice was “ask questions!”. Go Trojans!

What a great home visit with freshman TE/LB Cade Winkelmann and his parents. Cade is one of a growing list of sons of fathers that I coached. Pasta meals, playing time, and the “family feel” of Trojans Football were discussed. Go Trojans!
