3/10 This Truss Bridge spans 60m over 3 spans. The main span of 43.1m is composed of steel structures with a reinforced concrete deck supported by steel pin to roller bearings on concrete piers. The total horizontal width of the bridge is 7.8m with a vertical clearance of 4.5m.

1/10 🛠ENGINEERING RESILIENCE: RESTORING LIFE ACROSS KAZINGA CHANNEL. Constructed in 1954, the Kazinga Channel bridge is one of the oldest bridges that form the National Road Network in Uganda. It is located in Kasese along the Kasese – Mbarara Highway across the Kazinga channel.
