Several safety awareness campaigns have been emphasised and notable ones include. ➡️Airfields all be improved and revamped to handle any emergencies. ➡️More sensitisation especially in the fishing communities. ➡️Consolidate available resources at district level to safety teams.

Uganda as a member of ICAO and IMO is obliged to provide a 24 hour Aeronautical and Maritime SAR coordination and services to aircraft and vessels that maybe in distress within its territory.
