Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Government will coordinate to provide a robust Search And Rescue Plan that can pull resources to ensure safety on both land and air space.

Kawuku-Bwerenga physical works progress is 39%. The project faced a delay due to right of way and land compensation challenges. Presently funds have been secured to provide compensation and works resume.

Nakawuka-Mawugulu-Nanziga-Maya.

Project is so far at 6% and contractor is encouraged to expedite physical works progress in order to catch up the time lag. The Ministry in this case is also ensuring more acquisition of land and compensation to the Project Affected Persons. This will enable the contractor have

Contractor will also conduct forward maintenance within the Nakawuka-Kisubi section. Contractor will ensure to mobilise and resume works in some sections with rockfill works and Bush clearing.

Contractor will immediately commence and carry out forward maintenance on all remaining defective sections along Kasanje-Mpigi, Entebbe-Nakiwogo, and identified bad spots along Nakawuka-Nateete and Nakawuka-Kasanje. This will ensure the road is in good motorable condition.

Contractor will expedite the works on the box Culvert in the Nateete-Nakawuka section.

Contractor has so far acquired 30km's of Right of Way between Natete and Nakawuka. Contractor is to prioritise the emergency works within Nakawuka-Kasanje and commence permanent works for swamp crossings.
