Yes, there is absolutely no reason a single idol or even a ceremonial piece of flower should be immersed in Canadian waterways in the name of Lord Ganesha & tradition. It's not hinduphobic in the least to ban visarjan. It is in fact earthphobic to do visarjan.
@gauravsabnis The patience of Canadians towards this has run dry. I am trying to raise awareness to it but am only one person. Hopefully the correct people see this and rise up to the challenge. We need not be afraid of being called “hinduphobic” .
