Last night, @denverpolice investigated a shooting in the 1400 block of Verbena St, just a block from the Sand & Sage Motel on East Colfax. The city is currently leasing 38 rooms there for its Roads to Recovery program at $95.68/room/night, totaling nearly $700K. That’s an

What is going on at 5100 Leetsdale? 👀 Back in August 2024 I received reports that several buildings had been overrun by TdA. The Atrii apartments at 5100 Leetsdale were one of the buildings named. Recently, this building went under new ownership as “The Rambler”. Looks vibrant,

This story in Business Den about a 16th Street Mall retailer is a tale of persistence and perseverance DESPITE the City of Denver’s central planning controls and refusal to deter and prosecute theft. Note: -“change of use” planning fees and delays -sign code compliance costs

“It’s like a horror movie,” Violeta Gavrilovich said. “How is this safe? And this is your main street?”

@dobetterdnvr @MikeJohnstonCO The woke city council, Johnston, and their supporters declare the drug zombies a protected class. The long term plan is to get them all off the streets and into free apartments across over the city where they will eventually overdose.

@dobetterdnvr @MikeJohnstonCO Affordable housing is just another term for subsidized housing. That means everyone else is paying for someone's affordable house. When people get affordable houses, they don't appreciate them and trash the hell out of them, in a few years, they become drugs and crime housing.

@dobetterdnvr @MikeJohnstonCO The options should be mental hospital or prison.

@dobetterdnvr @MikeJohnstonCO Well not to worry, because they're expanding their needle exchange program to provide clean needles to drug users in the streets. F'ing morons. 👇🫣 https://t.co/0Q03owA4Qt

@dobetterdnvr @MikeJohnstonCO I had an office on the 16th street mall in Republic Plaza. 16th ST was great place to walk, grab a bite or a drink after work. In 2018 / 19 it stated to change and people quit going out because this was happening a lot. Our company eventually moved out of Denver due to safety.

No amount of “affordable” housing will solve the drug addiction crisis that is plaguing our streets. Don’t believe @mikejohnstonco lies and ga$lighting. We need mandated drug treatment and legal pathways to that treatment before things in our city will improve. #copolitics
