Denver is best sports city in country now with Avalanche, Nuggets and Broncos. No city has ever won 3 championships in same calendar year. Detroit won 3 in 1935-36. Denver could do in 2026 with Super Bowl, Stanley Cup and NBA Finals.

In front of thousands of police chiefs, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston just wrote the blueprint: "If we stop you for speeding, we don't ask your immigration status. When people who witness a crime are afraid to call the police, that makes our city LESS safe." This is the model.

Today, with the @Broncos, we’re excited to announce plans for a world-class stadium at the team’s preferred site in Denver: Burnham Yard. The stadium and the land purchase will be fully funded by the team. This is a remarkable win-win-win for our city! https://t.co/ZVeeLHqBin

Here what else I’ve learned about the @broncos new stadium. 1) It will be privately funded. No taxes. That was always the plan. 2) The stadium will feature a retractable roof. If you want a Super Bowl or a Final Four, you HAVE TO put a roof on it. 3) The current site at Mile

I get tough questions from local reporters every day, and I’m grateful for that. A diverse press strengthens communities, and when we lose newsrooms, we lose the stories that connect us. Denver would be worse off with fewer of these resources. https://t.co/Fzgm6iHWUG
