Maybe it's based on Sony Ballance sheets that state the company is in long term debt of roughly 2trillion $. If they sold off all assets and holdings they would still owe a net of about 240 billion. They just don't have the buying power at the moment to outbid anyone.

Sonys Net debt is 140billion only after removing all assets you clown, its obvious you have no clue how balance sheets work 🤪 they have to remain in business to cover those debts, they are in no position to just stop and walk away debt free,therefore they are broke in colateral.
