Art major student here, no actually. Anatomy is not what you first need to learn. The first session of drawing basics class, I had to draw lines. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal, etc etc. you start from basic shapes, to 3d objects, and then perspective. Anatomy is not the start

Based on what I've learned, the first thing you should study to become a good artist isn't anatomy or the structure of human muscles, but perspective and compositional relationships.

The techniques: -Simplify the shapes of the character and animate first that simple forms -Create model sheets and trace it -Use the key draws to create the inbetweens -Sculpt a simple model, pose it and copy what you see -Flip the paper to invert the draw and make it solid 1/2
@Tlauz_ani How do you make it so the size of each are always the same, for example the head, the neck, the shoulder, the height, all of their sizes? When I tried to draw even the same character with the same pose that I just draw, I keep getting them at different sizes.
