So why is aortic elasticity important? Because of the #Windkessel effect: the healthy #aorta expands during systole, then recoils to push blood peripherally. Stiff, inelastic aortas will generate more stress 5/

Spoke with my grandparents post #CovidVaccine. My mom & I had to gang up for them to even consider it. Reactions: smiles. Why? Gma: got @ hospital. β€œMy doctors are there, they know me” Gpa: fresh 🍩 (Gma: β€œhe already wants shot 2!”) For them, hospitality made the difference

CT Surg -> Boxer Intelligent and stubborn breed that has a deep need to work. Noble dogs devoted to their people, they are energetic to the point of rambunctiousness when bored. Can appear intimidating but are actually playful and even comical at times. A delight.
