Cycling in south Dublin could be about to get a whole lot safer. We welcome plans announced by @dlrcc to introduce 25km of new connected cycle routes, in a bid to encourage more kids to cycle. The plans will facilitate safe cycling to 65 schools. #BetterDublin

A new bridge across the Liffey is being planned. The 125m ‘Blood Stoney Bridge’ will sit between the Samuel Beckett & Tom Clarke Bridges. It’ll include a 2-way cycle lane in the middle & footpaths on either side. Construction to start in 2021 & take 18 months. #BetterDublin
