NYC City Council has passed the Bathroom Breaks Bill for rideshare and FHV drivers. No more risking a ticket to use the restroom or take a short break. Now, we are working with the Mayor to sign it, and it will become law. Thank you, Drivers @JustinBrannan @NYCCouncil

Drivers win at the Port Authority. After strong driver opposition, the Newark Airport FHV fee will be phased in over 3 years instead of hitting drivers all at once in 2026. 165+ driver comments and strong testimony made the difference. Driver power works.

Next year, you'll have to pay a $10 fee to take Uber or Lyft for your airport trip if Port Authority has it's way. Tomorrow, @PANYNJ votes on DOUBLING rideshare airport fees. Families & rideshare drivers can't afford this! @GovMurphy @GovKathyHochul https://t.co/zNzceynn3K

Port Authority wants a $5 pick-up + $5 drop-off airport fee for Uber/Lyft, cutting driver income and pushing riders away. 🗣 Comments open till 12/15 at 11:59 PM 👉 https://t.co/WBJ1EAXcJc

NYC has just ~30 legal parking zones for 80,000+ rideshare drivers. Intro 1000 @NYCCouncil with @JustinBrannan would let FHV drivers use existing commercial meters for short bathroom, food, and prayer breaks. Basic dignity and safety can’t wait — Council must pass it now.

Hundreds of NYC drivers rallied at City Hall in support of Intro 1000 to create parking spots, restroom access, and safer conditions for all FHV drivers. Thank you to CM @JustinBrannan for sponsoring this bill and fighting with drivers to demand safe, legal parking, and dignity.
