Think it’s just F1 catching up to the rest of global sport. Goes as far back as the Beckham’s when I was young. Lot of people love and want to live through every aspect of their favourite driver. Partners included. The F1 productions know that too.

Yeah, I think it's odd that both a Motorsport photographer AND a racing team want to promote to a stranger who just innocently spoke about having a chill weekend. Especially when 10 seconds of research on me would have them figure out I cover it part-time as a content creator.
