The real star β of this work was @MonashEAE @MIsotopia PhD Alison Davis (not here), who preserved through the unfavorable properties of silver π₯ and complications added from a two isotope system to develop this awesome method.

Way back at the start of 24, the A-team (Alison, @A_N_Wainwright, @ProfAndyTomkins) published an awesome new method paper π§ͺπ©πͺπ§ͺ. For Simplifying silver isotope analysis of metallic samples (i.e gold or silver nuggets) @GeoChemTropics @MonashEAE

Haven't posted on here for ages βas a bit of a protestπͺ§ But over the last year there has been some awesome stuff π happening in the lab π§ͺ @GeoChemTropics. The great students and collaborators working with me have made some awesome findings that are worth shouting about π’π.

Sometimes the Gods of #MassSpectrometry just decide to throw extra hurdles in your way. 1 melted torch = another small pile of π° that needs to be sourced from the ether. #melted #plasma @GeoChemTropics

Column carousels in action. ποΈπ From 2019. These racks are great because they rotate to minimise contamination risk from reaching over. They also have a small footprint and are easily moveable while dripping to maximise fumehood space. @GeoChemTropics @HelenWCam @CELTIC_lab

Definitely a new personal record π₯ for the number of ion exchange columns processed in a single day. Busy time on the #Neptune next week π€ #howmanyistoomany ?? Bonus points if you can name the what type of chemistry this is??? π€ @GeoChemTropics @JCUGeoscience
