This is such a shame and so disappointing. The first job of a gov is to protect its citizens and the evidence couldn't be clearer. Alcohol causes cancer & the risk exists at all levels of consumption @AlcoholIreland @AlcoholChangeUK @AlcoholFocus.
We're dismayed to hear the Irish government has delayed the introduction of alcohol warning labels until 2028. This will prevent the public from making informed choices about alcohol and the effect on their health and cancer risk 👇.@AlcoholIreland.

Such an inspiring event today, working to promote a national conversation around integrating #Nutrition and #physicalactivity into #cancer care - so much evidence now of the benefits, but need more coordinated and consistent action to implement on the ground.
How can we work together to ensure that nutrition and physical activity are integral to preventing and surviving cancer?. About to hear the panel give their ideas at @WCRF_UK @NIHRresearch #PreventandThrive event. What would you say?

Still time to sign our @WCRF_UK petition demanding a national alcohol strategy to prevent cancer #CPAW25.
Alcohol causes cancer - yet too few people know the risks. Around 17,000 people a year in the UK are diagnosed with an alcohol-related cancer. Support @WCRF_UK’s call for a National Alcohol Strategy by signing the petition: 🔽.
