Paraxanthine seems fantastic, you get the good affects of #Caffeine w/o the negatives. But the article doesn't touch on the DIURETIC properties. Does it inhibit ADH (anti-diuretic hormone) and make you run to the bathroom like caffeine? @SupplySideSJ

Paraxanthine, a metabolite of caffeine, is buzzing in the energy ingredients space for its potential to provide benefits similar to caffeine without negative effects.

This is a very exciting development. The earlier we catch something the better chance of survival. And there are a number of cancer types included in the panel tht can be screened any other way. This is a game changer.

Could the sensation of hunger itself be healthy? I think we are searching for a balance regarding our self-regulation of food abundance, or lack there of. Humans, as a species, have never enjoyed so much abundant access to food… https://t.co/U2zYUYYv4U

This is a really interesting study of #microbiome - how specific gut bacteria might be correlated with Atrial Fibrillation (abnormal rhythm of the heart that increases risk for stroke). This is the beginning of a whole new field. @sungenomics

Fascinating results, but will be challenging to determine if applicable to humans, given that we can't biopsy participant brains. We certainly can look at brain function, markers of oxidative stress, and antioxidant activity. Curious what @buzzhollandermd thinks about the study?
Chronic resveratrol intake reduces oxidative stress & brain cell loss and improves memory in old rats 🤔

2. We know fecal transplant is effective as well, but donor sourcing is an issue, so it makes sense to look at other potential treatments. Why don’t we focus on preventing the initial infection? Idea: Provide treatment with prophylactic oral probiotics upon hospital admission.

We can benefit from other organisms' stress. When certain plants are stressed they can produce chemicals that protect them and increase their resilience. When we consume them (or put them on our skin, as with this example) we can derive the same benefit. https://t.co/IItrlf66X9

Good article about testing for underlying causes of atypical neurodevelopment & neurological “symptoms” in kids. We have access to incredible genetic testing, so there’s no reason why we shouldn’t use it. A parent shouldn’t have to be a pediatrician.
