Sadly, abusive head injury is more common than new diagnoses of diabetes in the ED. They can be easily missed though. Consider it in small babies that aren’t right #PREMIERWessexConf

3/5 Button batteries are bad if you swallow them. Sounds obvious but our knowledge is significantly increased with presentation of initial results https://t.co/8PQ2rTCUpZ Keep an eye out for the its publication soon and in the meantime please keep small children away from them!

Huge thank you to all @RCPCHtweets and @RCPCHPresident for a fabulous 2 days at #rcpch2023 in Glasgow. Amid the unprecedented current turmoil it was incredible to spend 2 days surrounded by colleagues and friends learning, sharing ideas and just generally being nice to eachother

@Damian_Roland @EvelinaLondon @PERUKItweep We moved to ‘as required’ salbutamol in sept 2022 in paeds at UHS with no problems. There has been no increase in re attendances. Parent/patient feedback has been positive with a focus more on paying attention to the child and their symptoms. Happy to share our discharge advice.
