In Montreal today, a Jewish man was violently assaulted in front of his children. Cars continued to drive by, people filmed it, and the police reportedly took an hour to show up. Canada has become one of the most hostile countries in the Western world for Jews.
A religious Jewish man in Montreal is attacked & beaten down in an unprovoked assault during broad daylight in front of his 3 young children. The man throws his kippah at the end. This is what @Val_Plante @francoislegault & @SPVM have emboldened.

Moments ago, in Central Park, I witnessed a busker, surrounded by roughly 50-80 people, ask a man where he was from. "Israel," the man replied. "You can get outta here," the performer said. The crowd cheered. To see this in the most Jewish city in the world was profoundly sad.

The Palestine Post was a Jewish newspaper. The Palestinian Orchestra was made of Jews. The Palestine Brigade fought the Nazis, as Jews. Arabs in the region rejected the term Palestinian altogether. They identified as Southern Syrians, as Arabs, or as Muslims, anything but.
