Hi
@Everton
I believe you are testing yourself against high quality opposition for your friendlies? We are still looking for one more friendly, however it will need to be at Goodison Park as Noble’s Park isn’t ready yet. We’ll pay the ref. If interested please let us know, thanks
Today, Tyler Williams became the first ever player to progress from a D&D junior team to a D&D senior team, aged 16 years and 52 days. Williams came on as a sub for the combi at Douglas Athletic, and scored on his debut! He also plays for our U16 Falcons. Congratulations Tyler!
#ThreeLions
super fan and Steve McClaren lookalike Andy Milne, who became famous at the
#FIFAWorldCup
, spotted D&D midfielder Matthew Gregg in a bar in Thailand. Turns out he is a big D&D fan too!
22 year old Rob McCowliff has returned after a season back with Laxey. McCowliff scored an impressive 12 goals in 11 first team starts 2015-17, in the few games he played whilst at university. Welcome back Rob!
Richard Brant made what will likely be his final appearance for the club today before moving away, coming on in our Woods Cup victory against Gymns. It was his first appearance since suffering a serious knee injury against Pulrose over 16 months ago. Brant joined D&D back in 2005

Great win against 3rd in the Premier League!
A bittersweet day yesterday for Paul Surgeon! He came on as a sub and scored a great goal to put us 4-2 ahead. This was his first ever goal for the first team, and he joined in 2005! He then suffered a double fracture of his left arm in injury time. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Congratulations to goalkeeper William Gavin, who made his 150th appearance for the club on Saturday. Gavin is the only player to win the first team players' player award for 3 seasons in a row, 2019/20 to 2021/22. He also won combi committee's player in 2015/16. Well done Will!
We are delighted to announce we will be playing our home matches for the 2021/22 season at the Bowl! We have assured St. Marys that when they return for the 2022/23 season, we will ensure they can still play at their home. Thank you to all who have helped make this happen.
Congratulations to 16-year-old Jamie Dodd, who made his senior debut for the combi as a substitute in the win at Colby today. Dodd put in a great performance on the right of midfield. The latest player to graduate from our junior teams. Well done Jamie!
Special thanks to Tristan Ringham, who refereed our combi match today. Believe he was drafted in last minute as Old Boys combi game was off and Chris Taggart was stuck in Gatwick. Without him, the match wouldn’t have gone ahead.
Former chairman and honorary life member Shaun Montgomery passed away on Friday. Our thoughts are with Tracey, Niamh, AJ, and all of his family and friends. A minutes silence was held and black armbands worn at all 3 matches yesterday, thank you to Gymns and Digmoor. RIP Monty.
Club legends Tony Stewart and Liam Thompson represented the Isle of Man today, at the Walking Football Nations Cup in Dublin! Masters player Tony Sewell and former player Ian Strodder also played. They played against Republic of Ireland, England and Wales. Well done all!

Good performance in our first friendly against a Ramsey side who finished 5th in the Premier League last season. We went 1-0 down, made it 1-1, 3-1 down, 3-3, ended 4-3.
Ric Delaney has stepped down as first team manager after almost 3 and a half years. Arron Delaney will step up from the combi, Richard Sparkes will continue as his assistant. Ric managed us to our joint highest finish in 2017-18. We would like to thank Ric for all his efforts.
Paul Manning in action against Corinthians, away at Noble's Park. This was in our first ever season, back when we were Barclays FC, on Saturday 22nd February 1997. Thanks to Paul Hatton for the photo.

Every year since since the club formed in 1996, we have gone on tour. We were due to go to Benidorm in May, which was then postponed until October, then cancelled. We cannot let a global pandemic stop nearly 25 years of history, so today we are having our first Isle of Man tour!
Saturday 9th July 2022
Mark Madsen-Mygdal Memorial Trophy
The Bowl
13:30 Kick Off
Our 10th annual match will take place at the Bowl. The AGM will take place after the match at the Manor.
Mark Quirk scored his 29th combi goal of the season tonight in only 14 starts, averaging more than 2 goals a start. This breaks Daniel Stewart-Clague’s club record from last season of 28 goals in a season, although he still holds the first team record. Well done Quirky!
Our first entrant in our team of the decade is defender Chris Bowers. Bowers joined in 2007 and won the first team committee's player of 2009-10. He was club captain from 2012-14 and won first team most improved player 2012-13. Bowers stopped playing at the end of 2016-17 season.
After 4 years of service on our committee, Stephen Mulhern has stepped down as our club captain. Thank you Ste! He was replaced at our AGM in July by Simon Barber, who won the combination committee’s player of the year in 2020/21 and best newcomer in 2018/19. Good luck Barber!

in Division 2. 4th v 6th, kick off 14:00! Free entry, free parking, McDonald's & SPAR 5 minute walk away!
Our win away against Union Mills today was our first ever win against a top flight team in the FA Cup! It was only our second ever win against a top flight team for the first team, with the last being a 2-1 win against Castletown in the Hospital Cup in 2013.
Thanks to Paul Jones and Lee Dixon for coming to our committee meeting to discuss their plans for
@FCIsleOfMan
this afternoon. If you haven’t invited them to discuss with your club we would strongly recommend it.
Our senior management for the season. Arron Delaney (centre) has stepped us from assistant manager to now manage the first team again. Ric Delaney (right) will be his assistant, who managed the first team 2016-2019. Andrew Dossor (left) has now taken over as combi manager.
First team now have 23 points (last season 20) with 4 games left. We lost 7 first team regulars in the summer, 4 transferred, 3 stopped playing. We didn't sign any new first team regulars. Combi 2nd bottom last season. Huge credit to Ric Delaney, Richard Sparkes and the players!
We are pleased to announce Stephen Mulhern will be our new club captain for the 2018-19 season. Mulhern joined in 2016 from Malew, making 45 appearances. A first team regular in defence, he won the best newcomer award in 2016-17, and the first team players' player in 2017-18.
After playing for us since forming as Barclays FC in 1996, Tony Stewart has joined Douglas Royal after 26 years of service. Tony has played over 450 matches in that time, scoring over 100 goals. He will still play for our walking football team. A true club legend. Thank you Tony!
Happy birthday Mark Madsen-Mygdal. The 6th annual memorial trophy match takes place on Saturday 23rd June, kick off 12:15pm at Springfield Road in Pulrose.

Experienced left sided defender Keith McElhinney has joined the club from Premier League outfit Ramsey. McElhinney has played in 3 first team friendlies in pre-season so far. Welcome to D&D Keith!
