Totally agree. But as I told a filmmaker friend, at least it levels the playing field a bit as buyers and press can see more films, and under the same conditions.
Big sigh. Was so looking forward to attending Sundance on the buyer side of things for the first time. My heart hurts for the filmmakers, publicists, press, viewers and especially the staff. I’m sure the online version will still be stellar. But, 😔
