LAST POST 1/2 My pay from USW this month: £358.68 approx 12% of my usual pay I’m a full-time senior lecturer taking part in the UCU marking and assessment boycott (MAB). Some colleagues had work marked by (often inexperienced) 3rd parties and were removed from MAB statistics.

@DrLancaster @DoctorMikeReddy Asking students to use any digital tool where they give up personal data & their knowledge production without disclosure & tool training is unjust. ChatGPT has an aggressive data collection practice, for example. This should be considered before assigning work to students.
