Using insights from data collected during live disruptions in UK my new blog reflects on a case from NYC on how best to fix infrastructure to both reduce costs and traveller disruption. Odd that we fix so much infra and don't know this @Disruptionproj
What are the potential trade offs between a shorter, full shutdown of the #LTrain versus the planned slowdown? Find out in our latest blog post by project member @DrGregMarsden #ldupnyc

The internet is down at work. Right social occasion happening now! Never heard so much talking! If it didn’t have work to do before going home this would be awesome!

Get very tired of this lazy criticism - eg whole massive network of politics researchers associated with @UKandEU have been doing public events and media work continuously for years on Brexit. Massive conference on public opinion in C London just last week...
UK universities have many brilliant political academics but too many are cloistered away, talking to (or writing for) each other. We need more of their insights & research feeding in public debate. ie: QMU's Philip Cowley and Kent's Matthew Goodwin (below).

We conducted a research project on radical disruption to change travel behaviour - based on adaptive capacity of society. Policy makers told us this was a non-starter. So that's that eh?? Cabinet Office compares no-deal Brexit to Iceland ash cloud chaos https://t.co/PLdMpNk9Ig
