If you believe <discipline X> is not a #gamedev, then you don't know how gamedev works. Even with a solo person game, they will still ultimately have to wear all those discipline hats at some point, if they want to make a commercial game.

Not a mechanic, but all cars have engines right? Given the popularity of CarFTs why aren't all car manufacturers doing this, or some enterprising person make a conversion kit (a mod) to fit any CarFT engine on any other car (recent past, present, and upcoming). What am I missing?.

However, I don't understand why my new F1 CarFT engine is not appearing in any of my cars. And when I talk to car manufacturers, car mechanics and car dealers they all sort of look at me like I'm crazy.

Since I'm into cars - I currently spend my time mostly driving a small 2-door coupe, and a big 4x4 - but I have a big collection of popular models from the last few years and I'm also thinking of buying some upcoming electric & hybrids.
