While not all disabled employees may need to work remotely, with the inaccessibility of NYC and many disabled people being high risk for covid, remote work is valuable for representation. We need to be conscious of not penalizing employees who aren't regularly in the office.

Apologies for the paywall, but companies who want to be inclusive of disabled employees should be aware of these stats. In 2023, remote workers were promoted 31% less frequently than in-person workers, along with receiving less mentorship & feedback.
wsj.com
New data shows that people who log on from home five days a week get fewer promotions and less mentoring than people in the office.
