Wishing everyone A Very #HappyIndependenceDay . Bigger challenges as our country grows. Hope the startups also get freedom to easily market their products/services and are able to break the barriers being put up in ways of corruption, bureaucracy, fund unavailablity etc

For the startups, you've already verified all the data till their incorporation.Hence,we were wondering why should the startups be required to fill in this detail.Can you refrain from asking this from the startups at least for 2-3 years from their incorporation @DIPPGOI @PMOIndia

Is @startupindia all talk and no action?@CimGOI @PiyushGoyal you talk about 3 out of 7 years no tax,but @IncomeTaxIndia levies 40% tax on a startup who has somehow managed to raise #angelfunding can we presume these actions as #acchedin. @RahulGandhi this is news,don't wink here

#DIPP recognized #Startups in #Maharashtra are not able to get public sector bank loans.Banks ask for 3 year balance sheet & how much profits startups making. Product & Platform startups (who need money) don't get the loans at all. @CMOMaharashtra @startupindia @DIPPGOI @CimGOI

Meeting on 25th July,2018 at #COEP was the pitch day for the startups. The idea was to hone the presentation decks of the Founders so that they are at their very best in front of #AngelInvestors and #VentureCapital ists. Each pitch was mentored by other Founders & @niksindian

We hope The Collector Mr Naval Kishore Ram will also be able to look into more of the common pain points faced by startups in Pune and also get a nodal officer arranged by state govt for startups to connect with. #DIPPPune @punedaily @ThePuneMirror @connectpune @DIPPGOI

The Collector understood the graveness of the situation & agreed to call upon a meeting with heads of major banks and an RBI representative in Pune with us so that the investment part can be taken care of. We appreciate him for listening to our members for half an hour.

Forum members met with Pune Collector on 19th July to apprise him of the fact that a nodal officer hasn't yet been appointed by state govt.Also he was updated about the struggles of startups with bank loans, licenses, govt connects, mentoring etc in a half hour meeting #DIPPPune

2nd meeting of the @DippPune forum was conducted on 18th July,2018 at BHAU Innovation Centre,#COEP. Progress on various fronts was reviewed. Press releases of the MOM will also be out as well as we decided to actively tweet & post on Social Media as well as on Print media.

Pain points (common as well as unique) were noted down for the startups. And strategies were worked out on how to take on those respective challenges. A consensus was arrived at to meet every Wednesday 5pm at BHAU Innovation Centre, #COEP to discuss the weekly progress.

11th July 2018, a decision to form a forum of DIPP startups in Pune was accomplished with Mr Nikhil Bhaskaran @niksindian mentoring us to create a self sustainable eco-system for startups on our own & to take on the challenges head on similar to what he did in Shenzhen in China.
