From South Sudan, by way of Uganda, welcome to the Valley, Khaman!

Khaman Maluach was born in South Sudan and raised as a refugee in Uganda. A motorcyclist noticed his height and encouraged him to try basketball, leading him to join Luol Deng's camp and then NBA Academy Africa. The 7'2" center is now headed to the Phoenix Suns 😮👏

Khaman Maluach’s outfit at the NBA Draft 2025 had the South Sudan 🇸🇸 and Uganda 🇺🇬 flags on the inside. “I’m representing those two countries. I feel like they are home to me. I also represent the whole of Africa.” Maluach is now off to the Phoenix Suns.

I conquered and summited four mountains and hills the past two months. Mount Kilimanjaro (Tz), Mount Elgon (Elgon, Ug), Sseseme and Sagitwe hills in my home town Kisoro. Summit night Kilimanjaro was the hardest hike I have done by far. Glory to God for health restoration.
