My son got some of the jute we're going to hang their Christmas crafts with and asked for a lasso so he could go "catch the dog", I suggested sticks instead ๐
I'm amazed at how much of a win sticks are: to sword fight the tree & metal fence, chase squirrels, or for lassoing.

This explanation scratched that itch of "why is it exactly that everyone hates Umbridge more". Good to understand better as a writer for sure.

Just bought this adorable book for my daughter. I think reading a book written by another kid is going to be a really fun experience. I'm going to let her write the review when she's done. ๐ฅณ
Well, my 10 year old daughter just published her first book, Food Fight. What started as a 5k summer project turned into a 28k chapter book. She just hit Publish over on Amazon, and sometime within 72 hours her book will be out in the world. I am beyond proud of her. Look for
