Third, we'll continue to deeply study the policy issues that are most imp. to our partners (e.g., chronic absenteeism, enrollment, sch climate) & support the evaluation of new initiatives to improve policy in these areas. We'll be a go-to resource for the Detroit ed community.

Second, we'll work with our partners like @Detroitk12 & Every school Day Counts Detroit to develop, test, & refine a policymaking pedagogy for research partnerships, where research is a critical ingredient in the policy learning and design process along with context, ppl, values.

We have a new policy report led by Julia Blok & @jeremylsinger on Detroit parents' attitudes about COVID protocols. As we get into the new school yr, important to know that Detroit parents are overwhelmingly supportive of masking and quarantining.
