Why won’t TB Tracks implement hair testing like @AQHARacing does? . Test for banned substances, and anything that comes up in testing, has to be previously documented. Pattern of responsibility. Document document document.

Horses…. They know.
I find it incredibly moving when a lady, who may have cerebral palsy, is brought to have her photo taken with a mounted soldier. He maneuvers his horse for a better picture & the horse seems to acknowledge her presence.

Mrs. Shelly Lee was my 8th grade English teacher…. and I may or may not have rode some horses for her husband Mark at the farms before school started! . Marks old school! . Ask him about the tornado that hit his barn.
Trainer Mark #Lee on Wednesday was first trainer to arrive with horses for the upcoming meet at #RemingtonPark, passing through the stable gate at 6:30 a.m. Central, per a press release from the track. The first morning of published works for meet opening Aug. 8 is Thursday.

For context, this is a picture of a pre fire/flood Rio Ruidoso. It was taken from our back porch on my last visit there. It was estimated to rise 20 feet in 30 minutes, with very little warning.

Anyone got a corgi I can lease for just one race? You can maintain all breeding rights and racing rights after this race!.
The Saratoga Race Course will host a "corgi competition" on Aug. 10. Fans will be able to register their corgis to compete on the main track. More info to come via @TheNYRA.

I went to a memorial gathering tonight to honor a friend. It’s a true display of one’s life when all the stories told have to be amended, names changed, and other details left out to be able to be told in public. But that was the way Ralph lived. Rest easy Cowboy Hippie.
