"We're wanting to eliminate single-use plastic waste from NHS Scotland." @Design_HOPES @UniStrathclyde @HeriotWattUni are trialing theatre caps made from plant-based fibres in the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, in order to reduce waste in hospitals across Scotland.

Our textile scientists worked with @JubileeHospital & @UniStrathclyde to co-design sustainable operating theatre caps made from plant-based materials. Some single-use caps take 300 years to fully decompose. 🌿 Read more: https://t.co/ykAgIfTZnq
