📢 UPDATE: Curbside collection has expanded west to E 25th St. See updated map below! Curbside collection of storm debris began today and will continue with daily passes until Wednesday, August 6—any debris placed after that will not qualify for free curbside collection.
Following last night's storms, curbside collection will be offered to the impacted areas near the Fairgrounds. For those outside this area, the City Compost Center at 1601 Harriet Street will open Saturday (8/2) from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for vegetative storm debris drop-off. (1/2)

Crews completed the 32,000 cubic foot bridge deck in three pours this summer. This is the first full-depth bridge deck in DSM to be poured with a polymer fiber additive to improve durability in the concrete! The Walnut St. bridge is expected to reopen to traffic by next summer!
