Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul weren't allowed to play together because it was considered too overpowered by the NBA.
The Brooklyn Nets currently have Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, and LaMarcus Aldridge, amongst other players.
Cmon guys, Dirk sweeping the defending champion Lakers, beating a young KD Harden and Russ, and upsetting the big 3 Heat was far more difficult than what Giannis is accomplishing right now.
OKC Thunder with Russell Westbrook on the floor this season:
2-0 record (82-0 pace)
+5.5 point differential (6th best)
OKC Thunder without Russell Westbrook:
0-6 record (0-82 pace)
-16.7 point differential (worst ever)
Elite impact. MVP.
James Harden deserves a lot of credit for how he's played in Brooklyn so far
Never could I have imagined a guy who's in the debate for the greatest scorer ever happily sacrifice 10 ppg, happily be the primary faciliatory and letting a guy like Kyrie take more shots. So unselfish
Remember when Kyrie gave the Sixers 37 on 70% TS without KD and Harden and on empty stomach and Ben Simmons said he got locked up because he had a negative +/-
It’s a shame the NBA world has turned on Kevin Durant. He was having a great comeback story but ever since the James Harden trade people have just gone back to delegitimizing his legacy
Jalen Rose and Mike Greenberg just said on ESPN that this is “year 3” of the Nets big 3
Tomorrow marks one calendar year since the James Harden trade. Lol
So let’s just say hypothetically a fan burned down the Barclays Center. The Nets would have to find a new home. So let’s say they finish the season in New Jersey. Kyrie would eligible for every game, correct? Hypothetically of course.
If you remove the first week of the season, James Harden is having an MVP caliber year.
29.0 PPG/ 8.0 RPG/ 8.0 APG/ 1.0 STL/ 2.0 BLK.
74.9% TS.
Undefeated.
MVP.
